Channel 4 briefing at The Forum

write2screen is hosting a briefing by representatives of Channel 4 Television
at The Curve in The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich on Tuesday 29 April 12-1pm.

We are delighted to welcome Susie Wright who has responsibility for Creative Diversity at Channel 4. In particular Susie is going to talk about the Alpha Fund, the main funding vehicle through which the Creative Diversity team can assist start-ups, regionally-based companies, projects with diverse talent attached and grassroots innovation. She is looking for new creative talent from our region.

We are also welcoming Ben Stoll, Drama Commissioning editor for C4. Ben will be describing his role and what kind of stories and dramas he is interested in and how the commissioning process works in his department. Like Susie, he is interested in discovering new voices for Channel 4.

If you are a writer of fiction, if you are working in TV drama, or if you are a factual or drama producer or director this is a real opportunity to find out about what Channel 4 are looking for, to find out about funding and to meet and engage with members of their team.

To attend this free event please book a place via www.write2screenC4brief.eventbrite.co.uk

After the briefing, there will be opportunities for a small number of 1:2:1s so if you would like a slot please fill in the form here.
