Suitable for beginners and more experienced writers. Develop your creative writing with this new course inspired by the Robert and Lisa Sainsbury Collection. Guided by tutor Patricia Mullin, this is a chance to discover the mechanics and central tenets of creative writing while deepening your knowledge of the objects on display and the cultures which created them.

Sessions will cover beginnings, characterisation, narrative drive, action, dramatic tension, dialogue, endings and structure. This course offers an unrivalled opportunity to use the collection for creative expression and to craft imaginative fiction.

Patricia Mullin is an experience creative writing tutor and graduate of Central Saint Martins, Goldsmiths College and Norwich University College of the Arts. Her first novel was published in 2005.
