Screenwriting Speed Surgeries 22 September 2012

with Anna Seifert-Speck, senior talent executive, Creative England
Anna Seifert-Speck conducted 10 pre-booked speed surgery sessions with people that had applied by sending in a proposal.  People were selected on the basis of having some track record and an idea that they have quite well formed or have progressed in some way.

We have asked for some feedback from those that did have surgeries but the film gives some general advice about development funding.

write2screen open meeting 7 August 2012

write2screen held an open meeting at  The Curve at The Forum on Tuesday 7 August to tell people about the network and to invite feedback and input to its development.

Attendance was very good with over 80 people turning up to find out more about write2screen. With drinks both before and after, the group buzz really got going with a lot of good connections made.

The short video here introduces the team members, the background to the network and what you can expect the network to do. If you haven't done so already, please join the network through the contact form and to get on the mailing list for future events and opportunities. It's free!
The video shows:
Lucy Ward | Wavelength Films Ltd and write2screen project lead
Mitch Albert | Writers' Centre Norwich
Claire Chapman | 2C Films Ltd
Guy Martin | Cinema Plus at Cinema City
Adrian Cooke | Norwich Sound and Vision
Marion Catlin | Culture Shift Norwich and write2screen project manager

This is the team of partners who are developing the network.
