All participants will be able to access content specific to the Talent Module including more details about what to expect through the log-in link on the left - you will receive an invitation to set up an account and a password in due course. How to get a First Feature Made
Creative England’s Talent Centres, part of the BFI NET.WORK, in collaboration with write2screen, are launching a Talent Module aimed at finding the brightest new and emerging writers, directors and producers in the East of England looking for support in making their first feature film.
The free module will cover the key stages of developing, funding, producing and releasing a first feature film where you’ll get the opportunity to hear from industry experts and strike new collaborations in the region.
Who can apply? New and emerging writers, directors and producers based in the East of England (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk) who have a strong and interesting track record in storytelling – film, novels, TV, theatre, stand-up comedy, poetry, visual arts, music videos etc. – but haven’t made a feature film.
Modules: Thursday 6 October, Wednesday 9 November, Thursday 1 December, Monday 12 December, Thursday 12 January and Thursday 16 February, 6pm to 9.30pm with a break 7.30-8pm
Venues: Writers’ Centre Norwich and Cinema City in Norwich.
